Soil-Adhesion Prevention Component “GeoDrop”

Reduces heavy equipment work time by over 10%, contributing to CO2 emission reduction

POINT

  • Prevents clay from sticking—eliminating the need for bucket shaking or impact work

    GeoDrop overview video

By simply attaching a component made of fluoropolymer bonded to steel onto the bucket of a hydraulic excavator, soil adhesion is greatly reduced. This shortens heavy equipment work time by over 10%, while also contributing to reduce CO2 emissions, noise, and vibrations, improve productivity, and extend the life of the bucket.

  • Various sizes and proven performance across various construction types

Installed on a 1.4 m³ bucket

GeoDrop has been used in a variety of projects, including earthworks, pile construction, ground improvement, bridge construction, shield tunneling, caisson work, urban civil engineering, railway construction, landfill projects, power plant construction, and building construction.
It has also been successfully applied to buckets ranging in size from 0.04 to 1.4 m³.

  • Expanding application to other types of heavy equipment

Installed on a 1.2 m diameter hammer grab

GeoDrop has also been applied to a wide range of machinery, including auger buckets for earth drill methods, hammer grabs for all-casing methods, remote-controlled buckets and excavation buckets for pneumatic caisson methods, power blender equipment, diaphragm wall excavators, slope buckets, and carrier dumps. Its use is also expanding to autonomous construction machinery.
