Clean-Crete N
Achieving net-zero—and even negative—CO2 emissions during production
POINT
-
Concrete that makes carbon negativity possible
CO2 emissions of Clean-Crete N
An advanced version of Clean-Crete, “Clean-Crete N” can achieve not only carbon neutrality (net-zero CO2 emissions) but also carbon negativity (net CO2 reduction). By mixing CO2-absorbing and -fixing powder (CCU powder) into Clean-Crete, the amount of CO2 reduction can reach up to approximately 120% compared to ordinary concrete, depending on the quantity added.
It has already been used not only in precast products but also in concrete manufactured at plants and cast on-site. These achievements have been reported to the United Nations, via the Ministry of the Environment, as concrete that absorbs CO2. -
Also contributes to waste reduction
Example of CCU powder (powder that absorbs and fixes CO2)
The CO2-absorbing and -fixing powder (CCU powder) mixed into Clean-Crete N is made from waste materials generated by the construction industry. As a result, it contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and waste at the same time.
